Time For Marching Band and School Sports Physicals

July 8, 2021 by Crispin Borunda Leave a Comment

Will your child be participating in marching band or sports this upcoming school year? These students are required to have a participation physical. Our regular yearly checkup fulfills the requirements for these physicals. If your child has had a checkup in the past 12 months, bring the required form in for us to complete. If not, now is the time to schedule a visit. There is always a rush during the month of August to get a physical scheduled—don’t wait!

Apply Texas Streamlines Applications To Most Texas Universities

June 29, 2021 by Crispin Borunda Leave a Comment

Attention parents with a child graduating from high school in 2022! Now is the time to complete college applications through www.applytexas.org.  This service streamlines applications to most Texas universities. The application period opens on July 1st. It is important to submit the application ASAP. Your child’s ability to get the desired major, assignment to student conferences, dorm placement, and financial aid are all influenced by the order in which applications are received. Encourage your child to complete the applications and essays as soon as possible. Please share this post with your friends who are not our patients, so they do not miss the opening of the application period.
